Three stops, one lap

Nothing to learn. The route from the door to a conversation you'd have had at a real hall is about ninety seconds long.

  1. Walk in

Pick a name, pick a face, pick a floor. Arrow keys, or just tap where you want to go. No calendar invite, no badge scanner.

  2. Talk to founders

Every stand has a person behind it. Walk up, press E, ask what they actually do. They will tell you, briefly.

  3. Connect

If it's worth remembering, hit Connect. The list lives in your profile, not in a CRM you'll never open.

Who is here#wall

The founders wall

Every startup that has taken a stand, live from the floor server. Adding yours is free and takes one form.

This is the whole product: a stand with your name on it, a person standing at it, and an address people can walk to. It costs nothing and it goes up in about a minute.

Add yours

Put your startup on the wall.

Free, and it stays up. The same entry becomes your stand on the floor, so you are not filling in a form twice.

The floor

One hall, open to everyone, and everyone is in it. A young floor fills up faster than four empty ones. The miniature is to scale.

The board#ranks

The rank ladder

The plan: ranks set by verified monthly revenue through a read-only Stripe connection. This beta simulates it: founders self-report their number and the badge follows. Treat every rank as a claim.

Garage$0+Building in the dark.
First Dollar$0+Someone paid. It counts.

The floor keeps changing

Walk in after a few days away and the lobby will tell you what you missed.

Landed recently
  • A directory that grows itself. Every startup someone creates shows up the moment they save it, and its category becomes a new filter.
  • Chats that follow you. Message a connection from anywhere. They get a pixel-mail ping whether they're on a floor or in a menu.
  • Your own banner logo. Upload any image and it is shrunk to a 16×16 mark on your stand.
  • Your progress, everywhere. Stand, quests, badges and streaks now follow your account across devices.
  • Smooth on any machine. The floor measures your hardware and picks its render resolution to match.
  • Real email accounts. Sign in with an address, reset a forgotten password, and get an alert if the account signs in somewhere new.
In the shop
  • Real revenue verification. A read-only Stripe connection, so the gold badges stop being simulated and start being earned.
  • A real events calendar. Open Doors gets siblings: pitch hours, category meetups, co-founder speed-walking.
  • Bigger halls. New floors open as the existing ones fill with real stands.
Before you ask#faq

Fair questions

The five that come up most, answered without marketing.

Is it actually free?

Walking the floors, talking, connecting, and keeping a stand: free, permanently. Paid memberships buy visibility (priority in the directory, gold trim on your stand), never access.

Are the people real?

Yes. Every stand is set up by a real founder and every avatar is a live visitor. The one exception is Pixel, the clearly-labeled tutorial robot, who never leaves the practice hall.

What happens to my stand when I close the tab?

It comes off the floor: a floor only shows who is in the hall right now. Your spot stays reserved, so walking back in puts the stand back where it was. Meanwhile the stand keeps its own page in the directory, open at any hour, collecting guestbook notes and connection requests. Leave it 7 days and the spot frees up for someone else — though stands are kept longer around show weeks.

Do I need an account?

No. You can walk in as a guest with just a name. An account (free) makes your progress follow you across devices and lets you reset a forgotten password by email.

What are the ranks on the stands?

Monthly revenue tiers. They're labeled honestly: in this beta, verification is simulated: founders type a number. Read-only Stripe verification is the first post-beta feature.

Closing time: there isn’t one

The doors are propped open. They stay that way.

No badge, no lanyard, no schedule. The founders are at their booths.
